Co-Active Summit - The tsunami of LOVE
I'm gonna love somebody like you......Keith Urban. "You're teaching me to be a better man....." Isn't that what CTI is all about in a nutshell... If we could all aspire to be a better person. This song was a great kick off for the Summit. The energy and synergy in the room within the first five minutes set the stage for what was to come for the next three days. And then, as so many people have already spoken about, building the huge puzzle was so fitting. As most of us didn't want to "give up" our puzzle piece, I made sure that I took a picture of it, so I knew where I was in the puzzle. And then, much to my surprise, we ended up getting a new puzzle piece at the end to take home, but a different one this time. Of course, how could we go through so much transformation and not realize we have a different piece now. Ah to figure out what my piece is now. Kevin Cashman "of course" brought me to tears several times. I loved the ah ha about pauses. He spoke about a state of pause allowing us to access depth, and stepping back. A breakthrough is preceded by a pause. How many times do we push and rush through hoping to get somewhere. What would happen if we just slowed down, paused and were open to the answers that are already there. The Akashic Records Channelling was an experience I will never forget. Something I've never witnessed before, Jen was able to channel insightful answers regarding Co-Active Coaching. She spoke of how powerful Co-Active Coaching is and how it will have a huge impact on the world. Jen described it as "bigger energy than the pacific ocean" . She talked about organizations being the key to transformative change and encouraged us to reach out and build coalitions. She has indicated her session was recorded and will be available on her site for a nominal feel. I encourage you all to listen to if if you have the opportunity. www.akashictransformatios.com Lynn Twist - If you have not read her book, The Soul of Money, please do. I believe her message will move you to examine your relationship with money and how that impacts so many areas of your life. Again as others have already said, Lynn is a dynamic speaker. Within seconds of begin on the stage, she had tears in her eyes, (as did many of us in the audience) had us laughing, moved and enchanted by her presence and message. The power of sufficiency - a world where we rebuke the myths that 1) there isn't enough (time, money, resources) 2) that more is better and 3) that's just the way it is (we can't change it). Sufficiency is not about an amount, it's a way of being. Karen and Henry, were wonderful hosts / ambassadors of the Tsunami of love.....Thanks to both of them......I have a quote in my notes and I believe that it was Karen that said it. We go in the direction of the questions we ask ourselves rather than the answers we give......... Time for me to make a list of questions! Kathy Archer
