I am finding I have a strong draw towards nature lately; particularly with connecting to the messages found there. As part of each day I have been encouraged to spend some quiet reflection time in nature and to listen to what shows up.
Today I watched a squirrel as he was eating. Scurrying around, up trees, down trees, preparing, I assume for winter which is on the horizon. I wondered what message there was in that for me. And so I asked myself "What am I doing to prepare for winter?"
I am at the start of a ten month course that takes me away from home three more times in coming months. I am building a new business. I am growing a family. The questions that arouse for me were: What relationships do I need to nurture and put extra effort in to? What do I need to do for my body to remain healthy and strong? Where do I need to pack away resources? Where do I need to ask for help?
As I reflected quietly it became apparent that there is so much power in listening and hearing the answers that are provided for us rather than plowing our way through life missing what is right in front of our faces scurrying around waiting for us to notice. Nature is not only beautiful, it's quite insightful too!
I lead a full life full of love, adventure and growth. Check out my latest thoughts here.
